Michael is a native of Poquoson, VA where he graduated High School in 2005 and where he currently resides with his wife Christina and their son Henry.
He attended Christopher Newport University from 2005-2009, taking a small break to enter the workforce before returning to finish his degree in Philosophy/Religious Studies in 2011.
Since then, he has been a resident of Newport News, Richmond, and Boulder, Colorado, working in janitorial, maintenance, landscaping, foodservice, broadcasting, education ,and more. He considers himself a jack-of-all-trades and a master-of-none.
He has been engaged in one form of ministry or another for most of his adult life, largely at his home church, Tabernacle United Methodist Church (Poquoson) where he also serves as Youth Ministries Director. He is currently a candidate for ordained ministry in the United Methodist Church, having finally responded to the Call which he first heard at an early age.
He looks forward to journeying with the students of CNU as they explore new avenues of belief, faith, and spirituality. No question is too big or too small, no topic out of bounds; he is ready and willing to walk with you as you grow in your dynamic faith in the Living God revealed in Christ.
